RAIDER OF THE YEAR

The person may be a player or an official or someone associated with the club in any way that has had a massive impact at and on the club. They are a member that has gone above and beyond with the contributions they have made to the betterment of all other members in gewneral. Their enthusiasm for the sport, dedication to club values. commitment and positivity are infectious and inspire all around them.

RAIDERS CLUB CHAMPION (SENIOR)

Awarded to the player in the opens division who displays exemplary behaviour and commitment to their sport. They will be a brilliant leader and possess all the qualities of good sportsmanship that are required in a Raider. They may be the nominee in the most MVPs or not. Their character should be rounded out with commitment to training, team, and club, and have an amazing work ethic with a great attitude. Every time they step on court and in all their involvements with the club they give their all.

RAIDERS CLUB CHAMPION (JUNIOR)

This person will be an exciting emerging player who has shown outstanding personal and positive attributes. Strong character, good sportsmanship, respect for all officials, great work ethic and gamesmanship, and they have a genuine love for the game that drives them. They may not necessarily be the best player in the team but they are most definitely the best team player.

LIANA GATHERCOLE SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD

Awarded to an athlete who models the club’s values. They wear their club colours with pride and know they come with a commitment to always being a role model. They are someone who respects umpires, their coach, and their teammates. They take losing/winning a game with grace. They are someone who builds up their peers whether on the court or sidelines. An athlete who shows ethical and fair behavior whilst displaying perseverance and resilience.
